We have a Registered Nurse on staff five days a week. Thus, we are able to address any health concerns parents may have. A major concern of parents when they drop their children off at childcare is the safety of their children. While most children are quite healthy most of the time, illness and injury are quite common in children of all ages.

Not only are daily injuries and illnesses addressed by her, she is able to assist in-service staff on a variety of subjects including first aid, proper sanitation and hygiene issues, environmental safety, infectious disease prevention, and safety and injury prevention, among others.

She is here to address any challenges that may be presented by a special needs child, such as a child with asthma, allergies, diabetes, etc.

Our Sung Star nurse has over 30 years of nursing experience, and brings her knowledge and expertise to our facility. Whether she is addressing an injury, putting a band-aid on an imaginary “boo-boo” or dealing with an illness, it is done with the tenderest loving care!
